There is one episode per day lasting between 17 and 30 minutes attracting an audience of over 1.2 million listeners every day in North America alone. They also run children’s programs. Odyssey is a drama/comedy series with an Evangelical Christian theme based on the fictional town of Odyssey. As of 2002 the show was played on over 6,000 radio stations across the USA.
Another popular Christian drama radio station is Unshackled. It is a Christian radio drama series that first aired back in 1950. On each episode they dramatize the testimony of someone who has recently converted to Christianity. All of the episodes are based on actual testimonies and events. The show is produced by the Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago.

Talkback radio is another very popular genre of radio – both for Christians and non-Christians. While some radio stations purely have talkback radio, others have a mixture of music and talk back radio programs.
The most popular Christian talkback radio station is Focus on the Family – an evangelical non-profit organization based in Colorado Springs. The aim of the station is to nurture and defend families worldwide as well as protect family values. The main talkback program is with the host Dr. James Hobson (who also founded the station) where he speaks to Christians about family values and other Christian-related subject areas.
Other popular talkback Christian radio stations include: Praise in the Night with Steve Solomon, Peter Janetzki (an international talk back station) and Living Way with Pastor Jack Hayford.

Many Christian radio stations are broadcast around the world, and with the growth of the internet listeners can now tune in online to any radio station in the world. American Christian radio stations are the most popular and prevalent in the world, and millions of Christians from various other countries tune in on the internet to listen to them.
